 On July 17, St. Martin De Porres¡¦ ¡§Loving Heart Shop¡¨ was reopened at a new, more convenient location in the retail area of the hospital building. Similar in concept with Goodwill Stores commonly found in the United States and other countries around the world, our storefront is simple, with a warm and cheerful atmosphere in line with the inherent blessings of cheerful giving. Like-minded people from the community are invited to donate items they feel would be useful for others to purchase at a reasonable price, with the knowledge all proceeds will be used to support the good works of the Sisters of Our Lady of China. In this spirit of selfless giving and generous buying, our ¡§Loving Heart Shop¡¨ hopes to generate revenue for the Alishan Mountain Medical Fund, the Cancer Control Fund, and the Community Building Fund.
At present, the shop is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday. Please feel free to come browse and donate to our cause if you have suitable items.
